External links

The 2tix system supports external links (links to other web pages, websites etc) in almost the same way as links to pages on your own website. You add external links exactly as you would any other new page, except that instead of entering the page's content, you enter the external page / website's URL (or web address).

External pages are listed just like your own pages in response to a keyword selection or search. When a link to an external page is clicked, it is opened up in a new window.

When such an external page is selected, it records a hit is recorded in the usual way for your website and the page, also recording relevant information into your logs, before the user is automatically redirected to the external page.

This means that 2tix can be used as a powerful tool for the management of external links.
